Sentinel supports Liverpool City Council’s Troubled Families programme

Another of the UK’s core ten cities has appointed Sentinel Partners to help it meet the requirements of Phase 2 of the Troubled Families programme.
After reviewing the solutions being used by other major UK authorities, Liverpool City Council has chosen Sentinel’s integration technology to help it identify and work with families who are in greatest need of support.
Sentinel’s solution will automatically integrate all information the city council has to identify which families are eligible for its Troubled Families programme, and track their progress through the programme’s support and intervention activities.
Based on the family outcomes, the solution can identify which families are potentially eligible for PBR and it will support the evidence-based PBR claim as well as all other DCLG submission requirements.
The appointment by Liverpool follows Sentinel’s success in enabling Birmingham City Council, Europe’s largest local authority, to meet the requirements of both Troubled Families Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Sentinel Director, Graham McCusker, said: “Our Data Hub offers an extremely powerful and proven solution for any local authority needing to work with wide-ranging, complex data from multiple sources.
“Having achieved success at Birmingham and other UK local authorities we’re delighted to have been selected to support another core city and look forward to delivering a comprehensive and flexible solution that will meet Liverpool’s current and future needs.”
